Sustainability is rapidly becoming an integral part of everyday business and a fundamental part of corporate missions. Companies around the globe are demonstrating environmental and social responsibility through employee engagement and practices which, in turn, attract and help retain great employees, customers and profits. This goes beyond “green” to include community investment programs, volunteerism and helping to sustain our planet, people and resources.

Corporate Dropout and Three Time Entrepreneur
I have over thirty years of marketing, business development, business management, strategic planning, consulting and event management experience in corporate and small business settings. In addition to an MBA in Finance, my love of great food inspired me to go to culinary school and wine school. In my down time I enjoy cooking local food and pairing it with natural wines that are organically and biodynamically grown. On the weekends you can find me in my edible and pollinator gardens creating a haven for nature.
In 2009 I founded the Fairfield Green Food Guide to educate, inspire, and empower consumers to eat more locally and sustainably. Consistently publishing high-quality, unique, and focused content and engaging with consumers across multiple platforms – web, social, email, and events – earned the business frequent and loyal readers and the following awards: Constant Contact All Star Award for five consecutive years in recognition of excellence in email marketing. Morris Media Green Award 2015 honoree, Slow Food Snail of Approval Award 2012, Green Coast Award (2013 and 2011), and Best Website 2010, second place, in the Connecticut Press Club Awards.
I am always exploring new opportunities to engage with consumers about the benefits of choosing a local-sustainable lifestyle and support businesses vital the growth of a New Economy.
